Sea of Tranquility
In 1996 Sea of Tranquility was formed by producer and multimedia artist Gregers Kirkegaard, who has worked and performed for many years on the danish electronic art scene in various collaborations and contexts.

In 1996 Sea of Tranquility was formed by producer and multimedia artist Gregers Kirkegaard, who has worked and performed for many years on the danish electronic art scene in various collaborations and contexts. Sea of Tranquility puts effort into working with several soundzones, multiscreen slideshows and live video-mixing in order make music and visual art act in political context to be able ”to meet the audience in a non-commercial area – to take back the cultural ritual from the greedy vampires of media prostitution”, as the artist so vividly puts it.
Over the years, Sea of Tranquility has spread its activities internationally, having performed on many occasions in both European territories such as Scandinavia, Germany as Italy, but also in the Middle East, the Arabian peninsula and Africa.
